Catherine and Joseph are Co-Founders of Lalola. This married couple has been working on developing their own business and this brand for over a year.
Catherine is a Venezuelan who lived in Miami for 5 years, making it easy for her to maintain great tan skin, always being exposed to the sun. After dating for a while, she moved to Chicago, IL where the season change made it very hard for her to keep her lovely tan skin color.
To resolve this problem, Catherine started trying all the self-tanners on the market but couldn't find one that had all the things she wanted in one product. Good smell, no harmful chemicals, doesn’t leave that sticky feeling, doesn’t stain clothing or sheets and a product that would leave a good natural tone.
During Covid, they started thinking about creating their own brand and, why not? Coming up with their own self-tanner lotion, - “the best tanning lotion out there”.
That´s when this dream, now a reality, was born. We often get questions about “How did you come up with the name?”. The answer is simple, we named the brand after our fury child LOLA, their beautiful and loving Golden Retriever Puppy.
